    Dear all,

I am just starting to use LEAP and I need to inform you that the values separator is wrongly informed in your "help". You say that you use commas, but the reality is that you use semicolons. I took a long time to find out which separator to use, but then I found the function wizzard.

This is you example in "help"
    Step (2000, 300.0, 2010, 500.0, 2020, 900.0)

This is the acctual formula in LEAP (my model):
    Step(2014; 19246680; 2016; 226432680)

Anyways, it would be great if you could use the right separator in your "learning materials.

    Thank you,
    Pedro

    Hi Pedro,

If your computer is configured to a non-US country, it is possible that the decimal and list separators are different from those used in the LEAP help files. For example, my computer's Regional Configuration Settings currently matches the help file because I am using "," for the List separator. It appears that you are using ";" as the List separator on your computer. Both ways are correct.

If you would like to change your settings to match the help file, you can do this through the Window's Control Panel --> Time and Language --> Additional Date, Time & Regional Settings --> Change date, time, or number formats --> Clock, Language, and Region --> Formats tab --> Additional Settings. Here you can change the decimal separator to be "." and list separator to be ",".

    Thanks!
    Emily
