I tried running the least-cost optimization using LEAP-OSeMOSYS with some technologies which include coal, gas, hydro, wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal and wave. I observed that the results of the optimization scenario and a different optimization with renewable energy target scenario were the same. The renewable energy target was 50% by the end year, but the results were similar to the least cost optimization scenario using LEAP-OSeMOSYS. Is there a way I can solve this issue?

Also, the GHG results are zero for the least cost optimization scenario and renewable energy target scenario. I don't know what went wrong.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Are you still experiencing issues related to optimization? If so, my initial thought on why you are seeing the same results is that Optimization may not be enabled. Check that the Optimization variable located at the module branch is set to Yes. Also, it is possible that the renewable target was achieved in the optimization scenario, which is why the results in both scenarios were the same. If you could, please provide screenshots of the problematic results to help us diagnose the issue.
