I do not understand how to link technologies to Environmental Loading with data from the IPCC as suggested in exercise 1,5.

Sorry for the confusion. The process for adding environmental loadings changed in LEAP version 2018 and hasn't been reflected in the training materials. The emission factors in LEAP are not directly linked to any IPCC database. However, GHG emission factors for each fuel type, which are located under the TED categories "IPCC Tier 1 Default Emission Factors", were originally taken from the IPCC's Second Assessment Report. If you want to use different emission factors, you would need to modify them yourself.
