    Hello community,

For generation, does LEAP include stand alone and mini grids?

    Thanks!

    Hi Marie -

LEAP can be used to model many different kinds of energy supply processes and sectors, including stand-alone and mini-grid systems. But the software itself does not have these kinds of sectors "built-in" - instead, you should think of LEAP as a tool for constructing models of entire energy systems. Generally, "modules" in LEAP (which are used to represent energy supply sectors) take this form.

I'd recommend working through the basic training materials as a start, and then using the forums to post specific questions.
