    Good day

I recently installed LEAP and I'm self learning it. The issue is that I still don't understand what is 'capacity credit'. I read in the LEAP documentation its definition but I just don't get it's meaning; is it the 'firm capacity'? The 'spinning reserve'?

I would appreciate if somebody could explain me this

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Juan -

Capacity credit can be interpreted as the percentage of capacity that is "firm" - in other words, it is the percentage of a process' capacity that contributes towards LEAP's calculation of the reserve margin.

    Hope this helps,
    Taylor
