    LEAP will be at the second week of the UNFCCC's climate conference (COP24) in Katowice, Poland. In addition to taking part in a series of side-events organized by the Climate & Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), Charlie Heaps, the developer of LEAP will also be conducting an informal LEAP clinic at SEI's booth on Dec 12th.     LEAP-related events at COP24:

    1. Delivering Multiple Benefits for Clean Air and Climate (Side Event)
    Date: Dec 10th (Monday)
    Time: 10.00-11.00
    Location: Cote d'Ivoire's Climate Pavilion (Zone E, First Floor)
    Description: Representatives from Cote d'Ivoire will be joined by speakers from SEI and the CCAC to discuss the benefits of coordinated climate and air quality action using the CCAC's multiple-benefits pathway framework. The event will also showcase the new version of LEAP-IBC which supports this approach.

    2. LEAP Clinic
    Date: Dec 11th (Tuesday)
    Time: 12:00-13:00
    Location SEI Booth (Booth 41)
    Description: Charlie Heaps, the developer of LEAP will give an introduction to LEAP and demonstrate some of its current capabilities, as well as giving a peak at some of the major new capabilities coming in early 2019. If you are already using LEAP (e.g. as part of your country's NDC and National Communication analyses), Charlie will also be on hand to provide advice and support.

    3. Leveraging the Multiple-Benefits of Integrated Action on Climate and Clean Air to Enhance Ambition in Nationally Determined Contributions (Side Event)
    Date: Dec 12th
    Time: 14:00-16:00
    Location: Cote d'Ivoire's Climate Pavilion (Zone E, First Floor)
    Description: This event will showcase how the CCAC's multiple benefits pathway framework can empower countries to enhance their mitigation ambitions by addressing climate and air quality in an integrated way. The event will provide concrete examples of how countries are using this approach and the new LEAP-IBC tool to support decision making, leverage stakeholders, and increase ambition. Panelists will include representatives from Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Norway, the Philippines, the CCAC, WRI and SEI.
