    Dear All,
I have a model that included many kinds of fuel type. One of the fuel is electricity. Is it possible to limit CO2 emission generated by the power plant only? The limitation of this emission will be used as a constraint in the optimization of the power plant.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi Rahmat,

LEAP does allow users to specify an emissions constraint under the high level "Effects" branch (located between Key Assumptions and Demands), but the constraint is applied to the whole energy system, not a specific module (or power plant). This constraint is used in the optimization calculation to determine the least-cost configuration of a module. For more information, take a look at the following web page: https://www.energycommunity.org/Help/Transformation/Emission_Constraint.htm

    Hope this helps!
    Emily

I interest for learn your topic.
    Emission CO2, potensial for powerplant.
