    Hello!

I'm working with the LEAP model in my research.

I would like to ask some questions about LEAP:

    - In the hierarchical structure, there is the part of "Transformation". What could I put in this block? When I click on "Results", the error points to that part. I read that there is something explaining in the tutorial, but I could not quite understand it.

    - How can I include greenhouse gases?

    Thanks!.

    Regards,

    Hi Barbara,

Apologies for the delay in responding. To answer your questions:

    1) Energy conversion and distribution processes (such as power plants, oil refineries, electricity transmission lines, etc.) are included under the Transformation branches. For more information about defining Transformation branches, refer to the following help page: https://www.energycommunity.org/Help/Transformation/Transformation.htm

If you are getting an error while doing the tutorial, please ensure that you have entered all of the inputs correctly. Note that you can always compare your model to completed versions of each training exercise by opening the Freedonia model built into LEAP. To do this, first save your own model, then open the sample dataset by going to Area->Open->Freedonia, and then Area->Revert to Version to view the relevant exercise.

If you continue to get an error, please feel free to send us a detailed message with a picture of the error and a description of the exact changes you made before the error occurred.

    2) For instructions on how to include greenhouse gases, refer to the following post: https://www.energycommunity.org/default.asp?action=9&tid=3972&fid=22

    Thanks!
    Emily
