Topic: Using the "Filters" option in the APISubscribe | Previous | Next

Hi all - I'm working with the LEAP API, and I'm wondering if there's any additional documentation on how to use the "Filters" functionality of the Value call on variables. I found an example for fuel from the discussion below (put "fuel=Electricity", for example, in the function call) but I'm having trouble getting it to work with anything else (tags, specifically). Would it be possible to get an example of all of the filter options that work with the Variable.Value call? Thanks!

    Hi Doug,

The most common filters include "Region", "Fuel" and "Tag". There are some additional filters depending on the result variable, such as "GHG" (for the environmental results) , "Output Type" and "Fuel Type" (for the transformation process results), and "Forex Type" (for cost results). Check out the Branch/Variable wizard as it can provide more information on the specific filters available for the results you are interested in.

If you are having problems, please provide more detail on the issue you are having and we will try to provide further help.

    Thanks,
    Emily
