    Hello everyone,
I am using the LEAP model in order to find the CO2 emission from the power sector in Iraq. Now, I want to include carbon tax scenarios in my study. Can i use LEAP model in order to input carbon tax ( $20/tCO2, $100/tCO2) into LEAP model?

    Hi Virgil,

To model carbon taxes, go to the "Effects" branch (found below Key Assumptions), add a new effect branch for CO2, then input the $/tCO2 under the "Externality Cost" tab.

    Thanks,
    Emily
