I need help in resolving this error that I encountered after entering the addition size expression for new processes under exercise 1.4.2.1.

It's hard to say exactly what causes this, but as a first step I would save and close your dataset, and then manually ensure that no LEAP processes are running. Then, open a single instance of LEAP and try your operation again.
