Hello, I am modelling power plant expansion planning with emission constraints. I have two scenarios, one with and one without emission constraints. When I run the model, the "no constraint scenario" gives me this warning message. The both scenarios have the exact same values. Can someone help me explain this?
    Thank you very much

    Hi Humberto,

The error message you are seeing often occurs when the "Historical Production" specified for a process is higher than the maximum possible output for that plant (calculated by LEAP using capacity, efficiency and availability). If you are seeing differences between scenarios, is it possible that there is a difference in either capacity, efficiency and availability in the historical years between scenarios? Or are you using a different value for the "First Simulation Year" between scenarios? Note that the First Simulation Year represents the year from which LEAP starts its calculations. The output shown for the years before the First Simulation Year are based on the data inputted in the Historical Production tab.

    Thanks,
    Emily
