    Hello,

I am modelling capacity expansion for a whole country but have this jump in the results of the model. Could someone help me explaining why does this happen and how can I correct it? My base year is 2018 and the first simulation year 2019.

    Regards,

    Humberto

    Hi Humberto -

There are many reasons this could happen, and this doesn't necessarily indicate a problem. You'll need to be more specific about why this result is unexpected for you, what you expected to see instead, and why.

I'd suggest using LEAP's Results view to look at results that will help you understand this. For example, check Transformation: Reserve Margin to see your module's reserve margin, which is the trigger for LEAP to add new capacity. I'd also suggest looking through our online help pages, starting with this one:

    Hope this helps,
