    Hi,

I have two challenges in the model I built when I run the following scenarios:
    1. In the Carbon tax scenario
      • There is no impact of various carbon tax levels ranged from USD10/Metric Tonne to USD10,000/Metric Tonne on energy mix, capacity additions and decarbonization of the electricity sector.
    2. In the emission cap scenario
      • If you cap by any figure, the system doesn't converge
It is worth highlighting that the energy system contains available RE technologies and the system has various options that could be utilized to allow the decarbonization of the electricity sector but seems not utilizing the same.

    Appreciate your support in advance.

    Regards,

    Husain

Husain - I recall form earlier conversations that this is an optimization model correct?

You'll need to attach your model here or send to us at leap@sei.org. It's not possible to diagnose this based on a brief description. Please also let us know which version of LEAP you're using.
