How can I specify the same resource for solar energy. Same solar resource for PV and solar thermal technologies in order to prevent LEAP from allocating unreal capacities.

The way you limit capacity depends on whether Solar PV or Solar Thermal are modeled through the demand or supply branches.

If you are modeling through the demand branches, you will need to specify the maximum capacity. LEAP will not add capacity if these technologies are modeled through the demand branches.

If you are modeling through the supply branches, you can limit the maximum capacity for a specific technology through the Max-Built Capacity variable if the module is non-optimized, or through the Maximum Capacity variable in an optimized module. This way, LEAP will not allocate an infeasible amount of capacity for a given technology.
