    Hi Ali,

Thanks for your question. First, make sure that you have specified the years correctly in Basic Params: Years, as described in Section 1.2 of the Training Manual. The Base Year is 2010, First Scenario Year is 2011, and End Year is 2040.

Next to calculate results for multiple years, you need to add a scenario through the Scenario Manager (found under General: Scenarios). Refer to Section 1.3.4 of the Training Manual for detailed instructions on adding the Reference scenario.

After you add the scenario, make sure there is a check-mark beside its name in the Scenario Manager. If it is left unchecked, it will not be calculated when you calculate results.

    Hope this helps,
    Emily

thanks emily. i have checked the box with demand scenerio. i have entered all data under demand tree as specified in 1.3.2 excercise. but now all the graph is same and also no overviews available. meanwhile i have learnt about the reference scenerio but graph is not right the values are decreasing abruptly. like the electrified houses of urban city are decreased and then increase later on after 2030s. they were never meant to be decreased, dont know where i have made the fault what to do now.

    Hi Ali,

I think you may have misunderstood my answer - there is no separate scenario called "demand" in the training exercise. I only meant that adding a scenario (such as the Reference scenario) allows you to see the results across multiple years. You may want to go back into Scenario Manager and delete the "demand" scenario as it may be causing the discrepancies you are seeing in your results.

Also, it seems like you are viewing the demand results by Percent Shares and have the setting Differences vs Prev. Year Value enabled. You will need to change these settings back to Absolute Values and No Comparison if you would like to compare your results to the values shown in the training manual.

If the results for the Reference scenario continue to look incorrect, there may be an issue with some of your inputs. Go through your inputs again and correct them as required. Note that you can always compare your model to the completed model by opening the Freedonia dataset built into LEAP. To do this, first save your own working model, then open Freedonia through Area: Open from LEAP's main menu (you can also open another copy of LEAP and do this). Then go to Area: Revert to Version to open the exercise that you are working on. This way you can compare your progress against the finished product.

    Thanks!
    Emily

Hi Ali - Use the results selection menu above the graph to switch from the 100-Year GWP: Direct results to the Transformation results.
