    Hi,

    I'm using LEAP 2018 version. When I tried to generate the result of my optimization model I've got a message "Optimization failed with error: Unknown error during optimization. Branch: Transformation\Electricity Generation." and when I said yes for "view debug information", I found this information below

    could you help me in advance what happened with my simulation? and during the optimization scenario, we should not add power generation capacity endogenously right?

    Hi Etis,

    An error during optimization often occurs if there are conflicting constraints in your inputs. Make sure that any Exogenous Capacity or Renewable Targets that are specified are greater than or equal to the Maximum Capacity variables.

    Thank you so much for your fast response.

    so, is it possible or not to set "unlimited" for maximum capacity?
    because it means the maximum capacity will be greater than exogenous or renewable targets.
    and is there any possibility this error occurs because I updated the software?
    my friend also said she can not run the simulation when she updated the software, and an error message is about out of memory.. but everything's okay when she used the old version.
    if you don't mind, I'll send my backup file, and please look for it.
