LEAP is a very flexible tool for energy system modelling and analysis. it surely has way too many functionalities within the system (for flexibility), but is not as complicated as it seems and have made analysis simpler and quicker by its user interface.
Once you have a good grip of energy system, it's parameters and their analogous at some places, and then get through the training materials, it is basically like building a beautiful art piece from LEGO blocks.
