I updated to the new version and now I am getting error messages saying that the software won't work with my PC (running Windows 10 Professional). I kept getting blue screen of death crashes and reboots and finally had to uninstall the software. Is anyone else having this issue?

Sorry for the problems. I have never seen LEAP caused a BSOD before and it certainly should never report that the software won't work with Windows 10 Professional. It DOES work with Windows 10 Professional.

Most likely, a file was corrupted or not properly downloaded when you tried the update. If you updated using the built-in "Check for Updates" feature, then I suggest you now do a full download from the LEAP web site: https://www.energycommunity.org/default.asp?action=download

If problems persist, I suggest you first delete the LEAP settings folder: %appdata%\SEI\LEAP

Before reinstalling LEAP, it may be a good idea to check and fix any corrupted files on your PC. You can do that by running command sfc /scannow from a command prompt.

In all cases, make sure you have full admin rights on your PC before attempting any of the above.

Hope this helps and sorry again for the problems! Please let us know (by replying here) what happens.

Downloading and reinstalling the full version seems to have done the trick. It's working fine now -- thanks for the suggestion!
