Sorry for the problems. I have never seen LEAP caused a BSOD before and it certainly should never report that the software won't work with Windows 10 Professional. It DOES work with Windows 10 Professional.
Most likely, a file was corrupted or not properly downloaded when you tried the update. If you updated using the built-in "Check for Updates" feature, then I suggest you now do a full download from the LEAP web site: https://www.energycommunity.org/default.asp?action=download
If problems persist, I suggest you first delete the LEAP settings folder: %appdata%\SEI\LEAP
Before reinstalling LEAP, it may be a good idea to check and fix any corrupted files on your PC. You can do that by running command sfc /scannow from a command prompt.
In all cases, make sure you have full admin rights on your PC before attempting any of the above.
