Im trying to run leap as a published app in our microsoft rds-environment but keep getting this error on startup.
If i instead publish a desktop where the user starts the app from it works but it's not how we want to publish.
Is there a commandline argument for LEAP that i can use or some other way of getting it to work?

    Hi Stefan,

I'm afraid we have no experience of using LEAP as a Remote Desktop Server app. (TBH I never even knew RDS Apps existed!). LEAP is only tested and intended to run as a local app on a desktop Windows PC. I know LEAP uses a component named task bar that is intended to keep the LEAP icon updated in the Windows task bar (e.g. during calculations). I wonder if that is incompatible with RDS apps? I can try putting more error checks around that part of the code in LEAP so it can at least skip over those parts if an error occurs. Can you tell me more about how you are trying to run LEAP as this might help with debugging.

Also, FYI - seems like other software faces similar problems with RDS, so this may be more to do with RDS than LEAP...

Im happy to help in any way, i know that a few applications have similar problems in RDS-environments and think youre on the right path regarding taskbar-icon funktionality.
The latest test i did was in azure wvd, i tried publishing LEAP as a app and got the error in my first post, when the program rund like that there is no taskbar present for it to use, in full remote desktop mode the app starts and works like a charm.
