    Hello,

I am wondering if there is any way to cancel LEAP results calculations while it is calculating? I know there is a cancel button but no matter how many times I click on it, it does not cancel. My models often are linked with excel files and are quite large, not sure if that has anything to do with my inability to cancel. The only way I am able to cancel, without forcing LEAP to quit through task manager, is waiting for an optimization window to pop up, I then close it creating an error and effectively stopping the calculation. Any other methods to try to cancel?

    Thanks,
    Matt

Hi Matt - I am sorry but I have not got that cancel button to work properly yet. It is something to do with LEAP not properly firing off events during a CPU-intensive calculation. So in general, it is not easy to stop a calculation once it has started. The method you are using of closing the optimization window is a good work around for scenarios that use calculation methodology. I will try and look at improving that code for an upcoming release, and see if I can make it work properly. I think I have learned a few new techniques since it was first implemented so should be able to make some improvements!

    Best,

    Charlie
