When I run the optimization model I have the following debug? Can I know the reason or how can I solve it please?

2 Likes Hi there and sorry for the slow response. I haven't been able to track down this issue yet but I suspect it may be related to the language setting on your PC. Could you possibly send me your LEAP data set (please email it to me as a .leap file - send to leap@sei.org). Please also tell me what language settings you are using on your PC.

1 Like Hi again. This issue is due to OSeMOSYS failing to run if you pass it an empty set of pollutants (effects). This happens if you have a model where you have not yet specified any emission factors for any effects. For now, the workaround is to make sure you add add least one set of emission factors to your model under either the Demand or Transformation branches.
In the slightly longer run, I am updating LEAP's code so that it simply does not write the EmissionActivityRatio variable and other related parameters in cases where you have no emission factors. That fix should be included in the next release.
