    Greetings!

I am wondering if there is any built-in feature to enable notification once calculations are complete, like just a sound or alarm of some sort? I looked but could not find any such feature. I was looking for this because this would be useful for large model calculations that take lots of time to run results.

    Thanks!

In the Advanced: Events screen enter something like this for the AfterCalculate event...

    test@gmail.com, Area "#Area#" finished calculating at #Time#.

This will send you an email when calculations are done.

You can also have it send you an SMS although that is more tricky and requires carrier info. Only works in some countries.

    More info here:

Realizing that the following may be more information than you want, here is a list of the countries/carriers that are currently supported for sending alerts by SMS from LEAP. If you know of or want additional ones, please let me know and include all the columns of information listed in the spreadsheet. NB: using SMS alerts may (and probably will) incur phone charges.

To have LEAP send an SMS text message during an event, specify four parameters separated by commas: the destination phone number, the carrier, the country, and the message to be sent. For example:

2029991234, TMobile, USA, Area "#Area#" was opened at #Time#.

LEAP will show an error message in the Events screen if the carrier and country you specify are not supported or if the first parameter does not appear to be a valid phone number.
