    Dear colleagues,

Do you know how to tell LEAP that energy requirements of "demand" sector has to be supplied by processes of electricity generation under "transformation"? I followed the youtube tutorial to put endogenous capacity for new renewable energy plants to meet the rising demand. However, those are not deployed even with rising demand because LEAP separates "demand" and "transformation" as individual non-interacting components. This follows up with my previous question. I realised when I chose to display the GHG emission of demand sector, only "transport" can be displayed but not household, commercial, industry, because only transport directly uses fuels. It seems that LEAP cannot allocate the energy intensity needs of commercial, industry etc sectors to the electricity generated under "transformation". Thank you!

This is not correct. Transformation always operates in reaction to the demands it sees calculated in the demand tree branches.

If you are not seeing Transformation capacity built, start by checking your model carefully to make sure your demands are correct. Pay particular attention to measurement units.
