Is it possible to add Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) as an output fuel under a Transformation branch (Liquid Natural Gas Production), similar to the way one would have Gasoline as an output for "Oil Refining" as a Transformation branch?

Yes, you may need to define a new fuel called LNG in the General: Fuels screen.

It is important to avoid the confusion between liquid of natural gas and liquefied natural gas. This has an impact on how they will be addressed in LEAP. The former (liquid of natural gas: LNG) is obtained when natural gas is extracted and LNG can be considered as a primary energy source similar to oil. It is a liquid of natural gas obtained in the field.

The second (liquefied Natural gas) is indeed a transformation with very costly equipment . Natural gas is transformed in LNG plants to obtai liquefied natural gas with a great deal of losses by the way. The purpose of this transformation is for to export natural gas. Hope this helps

Many thanks Charles for what you have been doing for the community for so many years, I don't dare say decades. Your support, and also that of others, are very much appreciated.

True, and that was careless of me to write; what I was referring to was LNG, Liquefied Natural Gas. I've only seen the liquids referred to as NGL, Natural Gas Liquids as a by-product of natural gas production.
    Thanks!
