Hi,
Once you've specified the Dispatch Rule "PercentShare" you can enter the actual percentage values in the variable "Process Share". Note that you may need to navigate to another tree branch and then back again to your processes to allow the list of variables to get refreshed.
Thanks for your reply. I was confused about the "Process Share" because it only exits in the "current account" and it can not be altered in scenarios. Once it is fixed in the current account, is it fixed in the whole scenario?. In case of solar in my test, the solar energy shares in my scenario results exceeded the process share in the current account. I want to know more about how it works and how it can be used. Thanks for your help in advance.
The Process Share variable is visible depending on how you set the Dispatch Rule and the First Simulation Year variables. The values you specify for the process shares can vary over time and they also vary among different scenarios and different regions (in multi-regional models).
Thanks for the info. But I don't still figure out how it works. Please, tell me further information in case of using NEMO optimization. I set the "First Simulation Year" as "FirstScenario Year" or "BaseYear", but the Process Share variable is not visible in scenario tabs.
Um..I tested the dispatch rule "PercentShare" in a sample model provided in LEAP and it becomes visible in scenario tabs.
I tried to run the "PercentShare" again in scenarios. But I found that after optimization simulation, the tab "Process Share" in the scenario disappeared. Can I use it in the NEMO optmization mode?
That variable is not relevant in optimization. Optimization calculates dispatch internally as part of its cost minimization algorithm.
Ok. Please, check LEAP if the PercentShare function in dispatch rule works correctly in scenarios. The tab "Process Share" in scenarios disappears after executing optimization simulation. I simulated it from the base year. I look forward to your feedback.
