Is there a way to completely change the results view (legend, variable, dimensions) in a script. I'm able to choose the branch and set the variable being shown using the API, but run into trouble when trying to select what fuels or branches I want to see (ex: trying to select only a few fuels to be shown).

No - there is no way to choose selected elements of a dimension via the API at the moment. I'll add that to my to do list. The slightly clunky workaround would be to manually set up particular selections in a "favorite" chart, then to select that chart via the API.
