How to create different data structures for each region in multi-regional analyses?

For example, some provinces might be described in more detail where local pollutant-intensive industries are needed to be analysed.

However, in LEAP, if I change the data structure of one region, the data structures of other regions alter as well.

All regions share the same superset of branches. However, you can selectively hide branches in different regions, thereby creating different structures for different regions.

There are two ways to adjust which branches are shown or hidden in different regions.

    • Method 1: Select a region in analysis view then right-click on a tree branch and select "hide branch".
    • Method 2: Use the "Select Visible Branches" button which looks like this to select which branches are hidden shown in different regions. This button is available by right-clicking on the tree and you should also see it in the toolbar immediately above the tree. This button open a separate window that lets you check or uncheck (hide/show) the branches visible in each region. It also lets you make a branch shown or hidden in all regions.
