When I check my results about transmission and distributions simulations, I get this diagnostic messages
"Surplus production of 19273250 GJ for fuel electricity passed on to other modules".I wonder whether this message suggests incorrect results?
What checks should I carry out please?

The Transformation Module Balance report (in Results view) is a good place to start investigating. It's basically a chart showing what were the requirements on a module (below the x axis) and what it produced or imported (and unmet requirements) above the x axis. It's a good place to start investigating if a module is behaving as you expected.
See example screenshot which shows a module balance. Notice that I have put fuel on the x axis and balance categories in the legend and I'm then looking at the module balance for a particular year (in this case for the oil refining module in the Freedonia data set). You can also view it with years on the x axis for one or all output fuels.
