    Hi!

I'm having an issue regarding how to use the "First Simulation Year" parameter in my processes.

Right now, I've three different scenarios, and for two of those I would like to start my simulation from Year 2018. For the third scenario, I would like to start simulation at 2023.

My "Years" configuration currently looks as follows:

In order to start my simulation at year 2023 in my third scenario, I used the parameter "First Simulation Year" and filled it in as follows:

However, I've noticed from my Results that my simulation for this whole scenario is starting at 2018 anyways. I suspect this might have to do with the fact that Current Accounts is still fixed at 2018, but I'm not able to override this data.

How could I approach this issue?

Thank you in advance for your kind support.

    Regards,
    Guillermo GC

I can’t seem to reproduce this problem. Is it possibly a misunderstanding? All scenarios are supposed to calculate across all years. The First Simulation Year variable only causes LEAP to switch from dispatching using the data in the Historical Production variable to dispatching using the rules specified in the Dispatch Rule variable. It does not specify the year in which a scenario begins. Please let me know what you think!
