    Dear Sir

1.I would like to ask a question whether my understanding on LEAP work procedures behind simulations is correct or not

    (My understanding)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NON-OPTIMIZATION case are case that fixed and variable costs(in the case of LEAP’s FULL COST) and variable cost in LEAP’s RUNNING cost are selected according as ahe MERIT ORDER. In this case, the total of fixed and variable costs are stacked in order of lowest to highest) to match the daily load curve . Both Full Cost option and running cost option are not least cost option.

On the other hand , in the case of OPTIMIZATION option, e fixed and variable costs of each power source are stacked to match the daily load curve so that the overall cost is minimized.

    2.

Moreover, I would like to ask about the solar problem that is described below.

For example, if it is May 30, 2050, at 13:00 p.m., is it correct to understand that if we stack all the energy in order of priority (merit order), PV will be included, but if it is 9:00 p.m., no PV will be included?
