I think I may have lost the feature of discrete sizing for minimal capacity for additional power plants, which was previously available as an addition size. Currently, only the minimum capacity addition and minimum capacity features are available, but these two features are not what I am looking for. Through the minimum capacity addition, I thought it would be the same, but it turns out it provides certainty of additional capacity every year similar to exogenous. Why doesn't this minimum capacity addition function like addition size, considering there is already the exogenous capacity feature if one wants to enforce it. Thanks.

    Hi, Pintoko Aji -

Minimum capacity addition offers something distinct from exogenous capacity in the area of capacity retirement. LEAP and NEMO never retire exogenous capacity on their own, but they do automatically retire capacity that's added via minimum capacity addition (or minimum capacity).

As for why you can't see addition size, the problem may be that the Use Addition Size variable at the module level is set to No. I suggest checking that. Addition size at the process level is hidden if Use Addition Size = No.

    Thanks,

    Jason
