    Dear LEAP community,

I am trying to calibrate the model for the base year 2018 with the Energy Balance for 2018. I have an issue with the natural gas production process.

In the LEAP results (Energy Balance view) the natural gas production is not the same as I indicated in the “Historical production” for current accounts.

If results are viewed for output of natural gas production process (not in the Energy Balance view), then the natural gas production is correct.

Grateful if you could clarify why natural gas production value for 2018 in the “Energy Balance view” results is not the same in and “Outputs by output fuel” (and do not correspond to Historical production)?

    Thank you.

    Hi Aiymgul,

The issue maybe attributed to the selection in the tab of First Simulation Year. If you want to get the result that you input in the Historical Production, it needs to choose First Scenario Year in the tab of First Simulation Year. Meanwhile, the First Scenario Year should be set after the base year. It can be set in General-Settings-Years. The attachment is for your reference.

    Best regards,
    Liya
