    Dear colleagues,

When I use the new version of LEAP 2024.1.0.1 to run the model, an error occurs. I indicates duplicate output fuels are not allowed in simple models. But this model ran successfully in previous version. May I ask anyone who could help me figure out this issue? Thank you.

I think that would nave been a problem even in LEAP2020, but it was not properly catching that and reporting it. I'm afraid the only solution is to rework your model.

    Hello Charlie

Thanks for that suggestion. I am getting the same error under Transmission & Distrubution Modules running Côte d'Ivoire's NDC leap model under the LEAP 2024. What would be the appropiate action to "rework the model" ? The model can be access here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RFrI83lA6lwmTqHQYFA3-fX0OaXpJDUp/view?usp=sharing

Looking at that screenshot I can see you have losses that are actually dependent on each other (distribution, transport, production) so it would not be good to include them all in a single module as they are happening in order rather than in parallel to each other. I would recommend making three modules dealing with those three types of losses: distribution, transport, production.

    Dear Liya and Charlie

I have tried to rework my template. I created a single module for electricity losses under Transmission and Distribution Branches. I am not getting the error anymore. Seems this has solved the issue.

    Thanks Charlie

Well noted, I will implement the option with three (3) separate modules and share the results.

    Cheers
