    Are there possible way to add emissions like HFCs in the model(currently using the old version)? I tried adding default effects but it appears not to work (adding it on residential refrigerator)

    and there are no default effects/values for air conditioning

    Yes - LEAP has a long list of HFCs in its effects list including their global warming potentials. Select: Show <All Effects> to review them,. Also, make sure you put a check next to "Complex Effects" in the Settings : Scope screen if you want these to show up in your calculations.

    I'm afraid we do not have default emission factors for ACs though. In general, LEAP's emission calculations assume that emissions are proportional to the energy used in a device and I don't think that is true for HFC emissions from ACs (although I am not an expert in that).
