I encountered an issue when running partial optimization for a sub-sector in the demand industry module (specifically for glass and ceramic industries) in LEAP. If the 'Do not check the value of sum 100%' option is unchecked, LEAP displays an error. However, if this option is checked, the optimization completes, but the results show no production capacity or energy demand to meet the specified activity ('production need').

Has this issue been solved? I'm having the same problem.

    Thanks.

After trying several cases and structures, the optimization only works for a single branch. I'm not sure if it would work for both transformation optimizations together, as I encountered errors when attempting to optimize both the heat and electricity branches simultaneously.

    Dear Pintoko,

Apologies. I've identified a few issues in demand-side optimization including that one you've experienced. I think I now have them fixed, but need to do a bit more testing. I'm travelling this week, but hope to get a new version out once I get back to Boston next week.

Thanks for your patience and sorry for the problems.
