Here's a quick tip for anyone using LEAP on a modern (M1..M4) Apple Mac Computer

To use LEAP on these computers you need to have the ARM version of Windows running on Virtual machine software such as VMWare Fusion or Parallels.

In these situations, we have found that it is worthwhile making sure you have the newest version of Windows 11 numbered 24H2, which includes a new emulation layer called PRISM that allows Windows to emulate Intel instructions more quickly on ARM based computers.

We have found that LEAP calculates around 35% faster when operating under Windows 11 ARM 24H2 versus the previous version (23H2). Windows 11 should automatically update itself, but if not you can download 24H2 here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11arm64

If you are using an Intel-based computer, you won't see this speed boost by going to 24H2 because LEAP is already coded for Intel-based computers. We hope in future to directly support ARM computers (e.g. Apple Macs and the new Co-Pilot PCs), but this is waiting on updates from the developer of the language used to program LEAP (Delphi).
