    2024.2.0.0
This version is an important update with new capabilities, significant bug fixes, and performance improvements. It is strongly recommended for all users.

Highlights include the ability to do system-wide useful energy analysis, which can better highlight the potential for energy efficiency - especially on the demand side. See the three attached screens for an illustration of how useful energy can now be reported in energy balances, Sankey diagrams, and IPAT decomposition reports.

This new version also includes a revamped Analysis View that is easier to use, more responsive, and has better data filtering capabilities. It also includes new global warming potential factors from the IPCC Sixth Assessment report.

In terms of quality improvements, the new version includes an important bug fix to address problems several users were having resulting in "Unable to open table" error messages. It also includes improved treatment of planning reserve margins to address problems with full energy system optimization calculations.
